Dear Debra,

Thank you so much for your time, energy and creativity at my home last week.  Your decorating service from start to finish was so much fun and I could not be happier with the outcome.  To start you were so helpful as we shopped for accessories for my living room, family room and dining room.  I love what you helped me pick out – your eye to put it all together was spot on.  I also appreciated how you took my considerations and taste into perspective – especially as you said “If you don't like it, it won't work”.

For 10 years my foyer has been a cold area of the house.  You turned it into a warm inviting entry – I never knew I could love my foyer before – I never even paid attention to it.

You brought my living room to life – it is more modern yet still in keeping with traditional feel of my house that I like.  I had two beautiful mirrors in boxes in my basement for over 2 years.  Within 2 hours you had them on my large wall and they picked up the light from the room and outside.  My living room was also “cold” with all furniture pushed against the walls.  The furniture is now organized in a more cozy fashion – I can't wait to have a wonderful Thanksgiving family gathering in the room.

Mostly, thank you for all of your time, patience and humor during the process.  My vision of working with a designer was that they would “push” their preferences on my home – the way we worked together was fun – you helped me by providing suggestions that I would have NEVER thought of – colored vases; a beautiful scarf on my antique desk; and putting a beautiful print (also in basement storage) over my fireplace.  My rooms have come to life with your time and attention to detail.

You are a talented and wonderful decorator.  I cannot wait to have you over again to tackle the second floor.

Little by little, I've been following through on the great suggestions you made during your visit (specifically, I added a light to that corner where we charge our phones - it really adds a lot to that little space! Of course, I still have some things yet to do (like getting rugs and that mirror for the entry), but I'm getting there!

Anyway, you did a great job - working quickly and staying focused despite two "little ones" running around (you were great with them as well)! I appreciate everything you did and am very happy. The rooms have never looked better!
